Instructions:
- Download and complete consent and application forms (PDF) before October 24th to be eligible for exclusive VenturePrize London workshops and discounted seminar rates. Mail or drop-off completed forms to Nancy Kopriva at the Small Business Centre (316 Rectory St. 3rd floor)
PLEASE NOTE: Your completed business plan is not due at this time. - After October 24th, submit your application and consent forms with the completed business plan
- Completed plans (including consent and application forms) are to be mailed or dropped-off to the attention of Nancy Kopriva by December 12, 2008
Eligibility:
Eligible business plans must meet the following requirements:- All business plans submitted will be for a proposed new London-based business venture or a business existing in London for less than two years
- All business plans must be a maximum of 30 pages including cover sheet, body, financial statements and appendices
- All business plans must be submitted no later than 4:00pm on December 12, 2008
- All business plans must be accompanied by a completed application and consent form. The application and consent form are not included in the 30-page maximum
- VenturePrize London will disqualify any business plan and/or application that does not meet the minimum requirements for eligibility and submission
FAQs:
Q1. In the competition eligibility and rules, what does ‘two years in operation’ mean?
According to VenturePrize London’s rules, ‘two years in operation’ means that you must not have accrued any revenue for your proposed business before September 9, 2006.
Q2. If I work for one of the sponsors of VenturePrize London, can I still submit my application?
Employees and owners of VPL sponsor companies and founding organizations, or judges, are not eligible to submit a plan to the competition. Additionally, employee or owners’ immediate families and partners/spouses are not eligible to compete.
