There will be two rounds of judging. Results of the initial round of judging will be announced on January 16, 2009.

Final judging will take place at the VenturePrize London Awards Celebration on February 10, 2009. Finalists will be required to present their plans to a panel of judges the afternoon of February 10, in a confidential setting. Presentations will be followed by a question and answer period. Following the closed-door presentations, finalists will present a 60-second pitch during the Awards Celebration, to a live audience.

Once the finalists are selected in January 2009, each chosen participant will receive further details regarding the presentation portion of the Awards Celebration.
